Project Administrative Assistant
Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is a nationwide organization that supports learners in developing their French language skills. The Project Administrative Assistant will assist in various project initiatives, support a virtual tutoring program, and help with research and organization of documents. Responsibilities Support virtual tutoring program, including content review and creation Support research for CPF’s 50th anniversary Support ongoing project initiatives for concours and events Assist with archiving and organizing key documents Perform data entry and maintain accurate records Assist in updating, editing and enhancing our communications activities Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies A minimum of 1 year of work experience in the field of project administration in education program development, program evaluation techniques, training delivery, instructional design, particularly as it relates to French Second Language education or program Good organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team; comfortable interacting with different stakeholders and building positive working relationships with staff and volunteers Working knowledge of common digital tools, including Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook) and platforms such as Doodle, Canva, Mailchimp, JotForm, and WordPress Candidates must legally be entitled to work in Canada Experience in the not-for-profit sector, member or volunteer-driven organizations, is considered an asset Supports promoting learning of both official languages and a bilingual Canada Benefits Four (4) percent added to each paycheck Company Overview Mission Statement Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is the national network of volunteers which values French as an integral part of Canada and which is dedicated to the promotion and creation of French-second-language learning opportunities for young Canadians.
