It is responsible for developing and maintaining the operational roadmap, rhythm of the business, and service management practices while ensuring organizational readiness for onboarding new clients and services. The role partners cross-functionally to strengthen, standardize, and govern service management capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset. Change leadership is a constant in this dynamic and evolving environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical thinker who can clearly articulate value propositions, influence across stakeholders, and operate effectively across internal teams. They are a self-starter with a strong bias for action & purpose, skilled at identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, anticipating business needs, and making informed trade-offs. This role models and acts in alignment with Starbucks guiding principles. Responsibilities • Establishes and maintains practices for strategy development, rhythm of business, service management, and continuous improvement resulting in operational excellence. • Works autonomously in an ambiguous environment to identify and fix business capability gaps and help implement service management best practices. • Builds strong relationships with peer group and senior leadership both inside and outside of the organization. • Ensures alignment of proposed programs and projects within business unit, functional area and/or company goals and strategies and coordinates alignment with all relevant stakeholders. • Nimbly adapts to shifting priorities while continuing to assess the overall health of existing programs and priorities. • Serves as a thought partner and change leader to colleagues, stakeholders, clients, and sponsors.
