Program Manager, Outreach
To extend the reach and impact of journalism, the full-time remote Program Manager, Outreach will design and lead initiatives such as events and digital engagement strategies, cultivate partnerships with community organizations, and oversee outreach efforts to connect Pulitzer Center journalism to underserved populations.
Key responsibilities
ā¢ Designs and implements outreach initiatives aligned with impact goals, organizing events and workshops with partners
ā¢ Identifies and maintains partnerships with community organizations and media outlets, developing audience engagement strategies
ā¢ Tracks audience engagement metrics and implements monitoring and evaluation processes to improve outreach initiatives
Required qualifications
ā¢ 5+ years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or program management
ā¢ Proven success in designing programming that reaches diverse audiences
ā¢ Experience in developing and managing partnerships with community organizations or media outlets
ā¢ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
ā¢ Data-driven approach with experience tracking engagement metrics to enhance programs
