Program Financial Analyst
Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe. They are seeking Entry-Level Program Financial Analysts to provide dedicated financial support to the FAA program in the National Aerospace Sector, focusing on financial analysis, invoicing, and compliance.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and submit accurate and timely invoices for a large, multi-year government programCompile and maintain detailed invoice backup and documentation required by the contractTrack invoice status, coordinate with customers on billing questions, and support collection of outstanding receivablesMonitor subcontractor financials including funding and forecasted spendReview and process subcontractor invoicesMaintain organized, audit-ready financial records for the programAssist in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports specific to the programSupport forecasting and budget updates by gathering cost, labor, and funding dataMonitor funding levels, labor charges, subcontractor costs, and other cost elementsHelp create and update Estimates at Completion (EACs) through data validation and coordination with the Program ManagerConduct basic variance analyses and highlight anomalies for senior financial staffAssist with audits, customer reviews, and internal compliance checks related to this large programLearn and apply government contracting standards (AMS, CAS) as part of day-to-day program activitiesSupport review and validation of subcontractor invoices and fundingWork closely with the Program Manager and other program stakeholders on all financial mattersCoordinate with Contracts, Subcontracts, and corporate finance teams to ensure accurate financial executionRespond to urgent or ad hoc financial data requests as neededReceive hands-on mentoring from senior leadership supporting the same programGain increasing responsibility over time, including exposure to key program financial processes, deeper analytical tasks, and cross-functional program supportSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
