Program Coordinator [Part-Time, Contract Position]

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this part-time contract position, the Program Coordinator (Coordinator) will provide essential internal program administrative and operational support and customer service support to schools.

SCOPE OF WORK

Program Operations Support:
• Administers teacher surveys/feedback forms.
• Manages communications with teachers throughout the program season.
• Supports the development of programmatic resources and the logistics of program pilots.
• Manages the program calendar; supports scheduling.
• Supports maintenance of program data in Salesforce.
• Supports program meetings including the development of agendas, meeting notes, and presentations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Customer Service and Support to Schools (Managed through Salesforce):
• Responds to all customer service-related messages (emails/calls); supports teachers in resolving issues with onboarding, book orders, program requirements/resources, etc.; logs customer interactions in Salesforce.
• Develops standard resolution protocols/communications; creates self-service resolution options.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED Required. Certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 35
• years’ experience in a nonprofit organization supporting program operations and customer service.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with an emphasis on Excel experience.
• Experience working in a school or with school-based staff.
• Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software in a nonprofit environment strongly preferred, preferably Salesforce, with experience including use of analytic tools, queries, and reports; comparable database experience and fluency will be considered.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational systems and attention to detail.
• Experience managing projects which require coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to proactively develop solutions.
• Ability to work independently to resolve issues and prioritize multiple tasks.
• High sense of pride in work product, focus on results, collaboration-orientation, and collegiality.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with ability to adapt to changing priorities, embrace ambiguity, and support piloting of new initiatives.
