Program Coordinator, Family Engagement
UnidosUS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the Hispanic community. They are seeking a Program Coordinator for Family Engagement to support partnerships and program implementation aimed at closing the educational opportunity gap for Latino students.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate logistics for both in-person and virtual grant related events and meetingsAssist in developing and maintaining an annual schedule of program-related activitiesSupport the drafting and collection process for grant-related documents including contracts, amendments, and data-sharing agreements by communicating directly with grantees and relevant UnidosUS stakeholdersSupport grantees in program development, curriculum implementation, data collection, and evaluationSupport with enrolling new users and uploading program documents to Quickbase, SharePoint, and other databasesContribute to the design, refinement, and implementation of program curricula in collaboration with internal teamsCollaborate with other members of the UnidosUS Education team in providing guidance and technical assistance to program sites to strengthen program models, delivery, and outcomesLiaise with departments across the organization including the Policy and Advocacy teams to ensure alignmentConduct desk research to inform programmatic efforts, planning, or curriculum developmentSupport program trainings and informational webinars for grantees and partnersSupport dissemination of family engagement program information, announcements, materials, and toolsSupport and travel to signature Education team events, such as the biennial Education Summit, subgrantee convenings, and the UnidosUS Annual ConferenceProvide support in resource development and funding activities, including contributing to the preparation of funder proposals and reportsSupport as a liaison with grantees, community-based organizations, and external partners to strengthen program visibility and impactRepresent the Education team, as appropriate and under supervision, in select external meetings, webinars, and partner convenings to share program updates and gather insightsPrepare written internal and external reports, updates, materials, and other necessary communicationsSkillsAssociate's degree from an accredited college or university, or the equivalent relevant combination of education, training, and experiencePlus one (1) to three (3) year of relevant experience, preferably in the nonprofit, family engagement, or community development fieldExperience with curriculum and program developmentIntermediate level expertise in Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and ZoomExperience working with people of diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgroundsFlexibility for occasional travel estimated at 10%Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the Latino communityBachelor's degree in education, counseling, special education, or a related fieldExperience working in a community-based organization or national nonprofit intermediaryExperience with QuickBase, Concur, or other database systemsFamiliarity with the U.S. Latino community and Latino nonprofit organizationsFluency in Spanish (verbal and written)Company OverviewWe are UnidosUS, the largest national Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, formerly known as the National Council of La Raza (NCLR).
