About The Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of Italian speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced Italian-speaking voice actors to record professional-grade audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping train next-generation AI systems to sound natural, expressive, and authentically human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding Italian voice, a professional setup, and a sharp ear for quality.

• Note: This role does not involve voice cloning of any kind.
What You'll Do
• Record clear, expressive Italian-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for naturalness, pronunciation accuracy, emotional tone, and overall quality
• Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve synthesized voice outputs
• Review scripts and suggest adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure authentic, natural-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, or related performance-based audio work
• Native or near-native fluency in Italian with a strong command of natural spoken delivery
• Owner of a high-quality large diaphragm microphone and access to a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances across a range of styles and tones
• Naturally detail-oriented when evaluating tone, clarity, pacing, and pronunciation
Nice to Have
• Experience recording for broadcast, e-learning, video games, or commercial projects
• Familiarity with audio editing software or DAWs
• Awareness of regional Italian dialects or accent variations
• Prior exposure to AI voice evaluation or speech annotation workflows
