Professional Software Engineer (gn) – PHP (B2B Commerce)

As a Software Engineer, you will work on scalable B2B commerce solutions within a modern, event-driven architecture. In our team of 7 engineers, you will drive the growth of our core B2B product with the goal of expanding into new markets and building a strong partner ecosystem. You will develop high-performance services using PHP 8, Symfony, and AWS, and actively shape a platform designed for high load, complex integrations, and long-term growth. Your focus is on stable systems, seamless integrations, and an architecture that remains reliable as complexity increases. At the same time, you will be working in a dynamic environment where requirements and priorities can shift – you stay pragmatic, keep a clear overview, and enjoy moving things forward. Your mission You develop and optimize our B2B commerce platform using modern architectures You design and implement microservices and APIs for business-critical processes You work with event-driven technologies (AWS SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Lambda) You collaborate closely with Product and stakeholders to deliver B2B features You ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and clean architecture principles You contribute to technical decisions and actively share knowledge within the team Your experience & skills You have strong experience in PHP and frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel You have experience with microservices and event-driven systems You have solid knowledge of API design and B2B integrations (e.g. ERP, CRM) You have experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD processes You actively use AI tools in your daily development work and understand their effective application You have very good English skills, German is a plus Why choose us?
