ABOUT THE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR EDUCATOR PREPARATION AND INNOVATION

The Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with office locations throughout the midlands of South Carolina. The aim of the EPI Center is to create equitable learning outcomes for students in underserved, high need areas and subjects by creating innovative pathways and models for increasing teacher effectiveness, addressing teacher shortages, and diversifying the teacher workforce in South Carolina and the Nation.

The Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation (EPI Center) grows, diversifies, and supports the educator workforce through strategic implementation of professional preparation and learning pathways by partnering with underserved and under-resourced educational entities, eduprenuers, and communities committed to ending academic disparities.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
• Advanced degree required; terminal degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in education or a related field.
• Proven experience in delivering professional learning sessions for educators that enhance instructional practices and support student achievement.
• Excellent written, oral, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a driver's license and have reliable transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

As the REAP Professional Learning Manager, you will be required to coordinate all of the activities needed to ensure the successful implementation of the comprehensive professional development program at the Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation to advance the mission, vision, and strategic plan.
• Work with stakeholders to provide ongoing assessment of learning needs.
• Design and approve professional learning plans for teachers and principals.
• Align professional development to educator evaluation systems.
• Work with national professional learning partners to design and implement initiatives.
• Assess the effectiveness, fairness, quality, and reliability of the Human Capital Management System.
• Work with the Project Director and Human Resources to design, create, and assess the career ladder advancement positions.
• Designs content specific micro-credentials that incorporate the tenets of improvement science or related frameworks as applicable.
• Identify priorities for professional learning based on the district’s strategic plan, student achievement data, and staff needs data.
• Develop and maintain a digital library of effective teaching practices.
• Lead and support district programs that promote educator growth and recognition (i.e.National Board Certification, Induction Programs, Alternative Licensure, etc.).
• Assists with analyzing national, state, and local assessment data as it relates to theschools, to individual student achievement, and to the improvement of instruction in the content area.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned.

WORK SCHEDULE
• Hybrid with weekly in-office requirements and in-person obligations.
• 37.5 Hours Per Week.
• Overnight Travel - Occasionally.
