Position Type TemporaryEssential Job DutiesThis is an internal posting.Wolf Xpress Print Shop, located within Talley Student Union, is searching for an energetic self-starter and team player who is also trustworthy and a fast learner. We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, and opportunity for learning, growth, and promotional opportunities.Under general supervision, the Production Specialist will be responsible for:
Interact with customers and sales via email, phone and in person on a regular basis
Operate large-format printers, laminators, cutters and other finishing equipment
Operate digital print production equipment
Maintain equipment
Type setting of business cards and stationary
Maintain print schedule and adjust according to work volume
Other duties as assigned to ensure business needs are met. Position may be asked to assist in other locations as necessary.
This is an on site position only. Remote work is not possible.This is an hourly position, that includes a State required 32-day break at the end of 11 months. Superior work performance may provide an opportunity to renew employment and/or advance into a benefits eligible permanent position.Campus Enterprises is NC State University's division of retail and hospitality organizations - NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, NC State Student Centers (Witherspoon and Talley), and the One Card Office. Be an ambassador for Wolf Xpress and the university as a whole and enrich the quality of life for the campus community and support student success.
Work as a cohesive team member and play an integral part in creating a positive work environment.
Minimum Experience/Education
High School Diploma
Previous customer service experience
Some experience in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work on repetitive tasks
Strong communication skills
PC aptitude
Customer oriented
Able to plan, organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and customer needs. Ability to manage multiple projects at one
Ability to follow instructions

Ability to lift 50 lbs
This position requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, twisting, pulling and pushing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
