Production Planner - Rack Women's Active - Hybrid (Seattle, WA)

They are seeking a Production Planner to manage purchase order data, monitor work in progress activities, and ensure timely delivery of garments while coordinating with various departments. Responsibilities Manage issuing and maintaining purchase order data from commitment to shipment, ensuring PO accurately reflects multiple business channel requirements Research and adjust purchase orders to meet business needs Monitor all Work in Progress (WIP) activities from order placement to shipment Manage calendar milestones for the category supported Track final garments for on-time delivery, manage exceptions and issue resolution Coordinate the management of the RTV, claims and disposition process Partner with compliance and/or logistics to ensure manufacturer adheres to corporate compliance policy Partner with accounts payable to research and reconcile purchase order and invoice cost discrepancies Maintain raw material liabilities and utilization Skills BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience in related field 1+ year of experience in high-volume retail purchase order management Demonstrated strong problem solving and negotiating skills Proficiency in Excel Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills Strong organization and time management skills Knowledge of an Oracle or SAP system Experience with complex vendor management Benefits Medical/Vision, Dental, Retirement and Paid Time Away Life Insurance and Disability Merchandise Discount and EAP Resources 401k Medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options PTO accruals Holidays Company Overview Nordstrom is an online fashion retailer that specializes in fashion, footwear, accessories, and beauty.
