• Manage day-to-day production for tax and accounting projects within your team.
• Assign, track, and review work for preparers and bookkeepers to maintain timely delivery.
• Review business and individual tax returns, financial statements, and workpapers for quality and completeness.
• Handle complex returns, reconciliations, and technical analyses.
• Train, review, and develop preparers to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Client Manager to ensure all deliverables meet firm standards.
• Lead daily production meetings and maintain clear, documented workflow systems. Must-Have Qualifications
• 7-15+ years in public accounting focused on tax preparation and review.
• Experience supervising staff and managing workflow and production schedules.
• CPA or EA designation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Technical expertise with S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and Individuals.
• Proficiency in shareholder and partner basis, NOLs, passive activity rules, and property transactions. Compensation & Benefits
