Product Writer and Reviewer
About the position Responsibilities • Write reviews, buying guides, how-tos, deals roundups, and features. • Pitch ideas for expanding the library of related content. • Research to ensure product choices are on-trend and on-brand. • Use tools to size potential audience and affiliate revenue opportunities. • Provide valuable reader service with useful buying recommendations. • Request new products for review and thoroughly test them. • Apply SEO and commerce linking best practices to all content. • Assist with video support for reviews by writing scripts and/or appearing on camera. • Organize and manage time efficiently, take initiative, and communicate effectively. Requirements • Experience writing and/or editing consumer-focused product reviews and guides. • Strong understanding of personal technology and consumer products. • Ability to write in a conversational style that aligns with WIRED's voice. Nice-to-haves • Familiarity with WIRED and its content style. • Experience in video content creation or scripting.
