Product Owner - Production Orchestration

Remote Full-time
About the position

This role is responsible for owning and prioritizing the Production Orchestration story-level backlog, translating business needs, operational requirements, technical requirements, and defined features into clear, testable work aligned to value and delivery outcomes. The Product Owner will serve as the domain’s day-to-day decision maker for scope, backlog readiness, and acceptance, keeping delivery focused and moving. They will maintain a strong understanding of the end-to-end post-acceptance production workflow, including integrations, operational handoffs, vendor-supported processes, and delivery-readiness requirements. This includes identifying dependencies, risks, and constraints across systems, teams, and vendors, and upholding clear standards for readiness and quality before release. The role also involves executing defined pilots and controlled rollouts within the domain, validating readiness and analyzing results to assess value, performance, and operational fit. Learnings from pilots, operational insights, and stakeholder feedback will be translated into backlog priorities, release decisions, and scalable operating practices. Additionally, the Product Owner will maintain concise, durable documentation and release artifacts that support delivery, adoption, transparency, and operational handoff, and communicate progress, risks, decisions, and trade-offs clearly, representing the Production Orchestration domain effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
