Product Owner

An opportunity to join NAB as an end to end product owner of a squad, where you are responsible for communicating and maintaining the vision, roadmap, goals, plans and expectations. The Financial Support Transformation Program (FSTP) plays a pivotal role in helping to deliver and embed business outcomes to support the transformation of how we support customers during financial difficulty at nab. The Product Owner (PO) plays a critical role in translating program outcomes into sustainable business change. This role ensures that strategic initiatives are embedded effectively across impacted teams, driving adoption, minimising disruption, and enabling long-term value realisation. This role is pivotal in bridging program delivery with business transformation, ensuring that outcomes are not only implemented but meaningfully aligned to the broader Customer Services strategy. The PO acts as a connector - translating program intent into operational reality, and aligning teams around a shared vision of improved customer and colleague experiences. Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to: Embedding & Adoption Lead the implementation of program deliverables into business-as-usual operations. Partner with Change Managers, Product Owners, and Business Leads to ensure readiness and adoption. Develop and execute transition plans, including training framework, communications, and support models. Consider the broader application of the delivery in the NAB ecosystem, and identify opportunities for re-use/adaptation that benefit the enterprise Enable adoption by translating strategic intent into practical, sustainable business change. Stakeholder Engagement Represent the voice of the FSTP team and NAB customers to all partners/stakeholders external to FSTP, with the ability to clearly communicate the FSTP vision/objectives/commitments, the alignment of our initiatives to those visions/objectives/commitments and the value being created by our initiatives for our customers and Colleagues in financial difficulty Build strong relationships across business units to understand impacts and co-design solutions. Facilitate workshops and forums to align stakeholders and resolve implementation challenges. Clear and transparent communication to all stakeholders with a ‘no surprises’ policy Business Readiness & Operationalisation Assess business readiness and develop mitigation strategies for risks and resistance. Ensure operational teams are equipped with the tools, processes, and capabilities to sustain change. Continuous Improvement Monitor post-implementation outcomes and identify opportunities for optimisation. Capture lessons learned and feed insights into future transformation initiatives. Be flexible to changing demands and priorities, and will drive outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Governance & Reporting Provide regular updates to program governance forums on implementation progress, risks, and benefits realisation. Track and report on Benefits related to change adoption and business impact. We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. Stakeholder & Engagement: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and drive shared ownership of outcomes. Ability to translate strategic objectives into operational outcomes. Experience working in agile and hybrid delivery environments.
