GLAD YOU ASKED...The Product Marketing Specialist is a vital contributor to our revenue growth and brand development. This role empowers our sales team by equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to enhance awareness and drive sales for the organization. Additionally, the Specialist plays a key role in strengthening Pelmorex and its brands within our B2B portfolio and supports our B2C go-to-market initiatives for The Weather Network/MeteoMedia. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, they help to formulate strategies that align with our objectives, position us as market leaders, and provide essential marketing support and resources to drive revenue. Here’s what’s the day the day may look like:Please note we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in Canada and are currently located in the Greater Toronto Area.Please note this is a 14 month contract role WHAT IS THE DAY TO DAY LOOK LIKE DEVELOPMENT OF RESOURCES & MARKETING COLLATERAL: Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop stories and sales materials including:Marketing collateral for new product launches/updatesMaterials that showcase Pelmorex, and product brands’ unique valuable propositionCohesive category content for use in presentations, one pagers and social promotionCase studies that showcase our solutions and ability to drive resultsPresentations and materials for senior leadership as requiredYou will also: Have regular communication with ad product & brand stakeholders to ensure we are communicating information in the market in a timely manner.Partner closely with sales team to understand market/client pain points and opportunities to influence the creation of collateralOwn access of materials for the sales team as well as training on new product launchesPartner closely with internal teams to ensure the product rollout process is followed before launching new materialsPartner closely with Corp communications on needs for social, internal communications and press releasesELEVATING PELMOREX & OUR HOUSE OF PRODUCT BRANDS:Partner closely with the Manager, Product Marketing to support in the execution of B2C campaigns as required (on and off platform) including post campaign reporting and insightsDevelop a strategic plan to strengthen our position in the market for Pelmorex and product brands through storytelling and industry partnershipDevelop presentations for thought leadership, speaking engagements as requiredWork with industry partners to uncover opportunities that support our strategyStay informed on market trends and competitors within our industry, our target audiences (s) to ensure we are communicating value & differentiators in marketStay up-to-date on key trends and motivators within our industryManage all aspects of B2B go-to-market strategies including leading the plan, executing strategies, stakeholder collaboration, mobilization of internal teams, management of external vendors and overall success of product launches including lead generation and advertising performance WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE You are a natural storyteller and excel at elevating brands and productsYou can sell products and services using words and visualsYou are a big picture thinker, with a passion for detail and process3-5 years experience in product strategy, product marketing or product management with advertising technology productsMedia planning and execution experience is an assetExperience reading, writing and marketing to French audiences an assetExperience partnering with cross functional teams in an evolving environmentExperience in the creation of sales materials and using design, presentation software are an assetStrong knowledge of digital, broadcast and social mediaYou get things done right with the ability to prioritize tasksYou are detailed oriented and organized and have strong communication skills DON’T MEET ALL THE REQUIREMENTS?
