Product Manager - Music Expression
We're seeking an early-career product manager to join our dynamic product team. Our team looks after a broad portfolio of products that help artists engage their fans on Spotify. Our current focus is primarily on music centric video: content acquisition, upload tools, personalization, rights tracking, and payment. While the rest focuses on music context, helping artists share their stories beyond music.
What You'll Do
ā¢ Step into the music context space and support delivery across key initiatives like Song DNA, About the Song, Countdown Pages, and New Music Submission
ā¢ Drive execution on an existing roadmap, helping the team deliver high-quality work on time
ā¢ Partner closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to bring new artist experiences to life
ā¢ Navigate changing priorities and adapt plans as new insights or business needs emerge
ā¢ Contribute to shaping product direction over time as you grow into greater ownership
ā¢ Build a strong understanding of artist and fan needs to inform product decisions
ā¢ Transition into the video product area as it scales, taking on more strategic ownership and leading a dedicated squad
Who You Are
ā¢ You have experience working on digital products, in a product management role
ā¢ You know how to drive execution and keep teams aligned on goals and timelines
ā¢ You are comfortable working with evolving priorities and can adapt quickly to change
ā¢ You collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners across engineering, design, and business teams
ā¢ You care about building great user experiences for artists and fans
ā¢ You have an interest in music, storytelling, or creator platforms
ā¢ You bring experience from consumer products, video platforms, or high-scale environments serving large user bases
ā¢ You understand, or are curious about, areas like music rights, licensing, or the broader music ecosystem
Where You'll Be
ā¢ We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the North Americas region as long as we have a work location.
ā¢ This team operates within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration.
The United States base range for this position is $95,658 - $136,654 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, a monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
