Position: Product Manager

Duration: Contract to end of year + likely extensions
Location: Remote
Interview Process: 2 rounds. First round is 30 minutes with HM, then a 1-hour technical
Must Haves:
ā¢ 8+ years of IT or digital product management (or related) experience across the SDLC, including at least 5 years in a Product Manager role and 3 years translating business needs and requirements into IT/digital product solutions
ā¢ 5+ years of deep knowledge of IT principles, Agile development methodologies, and cloud platforms/applications, software products, or design tools
ā¢ 5+ years of experience managing customer expectations and building strong stakeholder relationships
Plusses
ā¢ Experience as a Product Manager working in Agile methodologies
ā¢ Experience advocating for UX/design practices within large business and technology organizations
ā¢ Pharmacy benefit management (PBM) and healthcare industry experience
ā¢ Demonstrated focus on quality and cost savings through continuous process improvement
ā¢ Product management certifications (e.g., CSPO, SAFe POPM) preferred
Day to Day:
The Senior Product Manager role is responsible for successfully executing products and initiatives while providing coaching, growth opportunities, and leadership within the Enterprise Product Management practice. This role provides guidance to product teams and direct reports on product planning and execution; technical and functional standards; processes and procedures; and career development. The role also participates in annual budgeting, capital planning, and quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Use customer feedback, market analysis, and data to inform product decisions
ā¢ Define and manage success metrics to inform ongoing product strategy
ā¢ Know your customer by regularly engaging current and prospective users to understand needs and behaviors
ā¢ Drive build-test-learn experiments to validate assumptions and refine product direction
ā¢ Create, prioritize, and continuously refine the product backlog by decomposing complex problems into epics/features/user stories with clear acceptance criteria
ā¢ Partner with Engineering and Architecture to define solution approaches, technical requirements, and delivery sequencing
ā¢ Own non-functional requirements (NFRs) for performance, availability, scalability, resiliency, and observability
ā¢ Drive security-by-design and privacy-by-design requirements in partnership with Security, Risk, and Compliance
ā¢ Define telemetry and analytics instrumentation to measure adoption, reliability, and business outcomes
ā¢ Ensure production readiness through release planning, feature flags, runbooks, and incident response expectations
ā¢ Balance feature delivery with technical debt reduction by prioritizing modernization, refactoring, and dependency upgrades
ā¢ Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap; incorporate timely stakeholder feedback
ā¢ Ensure development standards are followed to enable tight feedback loops and clear product definition
ā¢ Coach and mentor team members and cross-functional partners on collaboration, ideation, consumer research, experiment design and execution, measurement, implementation, customer interactions, and rollout
ā¢ Partner with business and IT stakeholders during execution to ensure expectations are met
ā¢ Proactively remove obstacles and resolve roadblocks to achieve product goals
ā¢ Identify and develop services and service level agreements (SLAs); educate senior leaders and continuously improve service-related processes
