This role can be based in a US office or remote.About the roleThe Fetch Product Design team covers the entire design spectrum within the Fetch app, from user experience design to creative direction and production. We aim to deliver a fun, loved experience for shoppers and partners. Fetch is looking for an experienced Illustrator to join our team. You will work within the Product Design organization to bring delight to the product through illustration, both large and small. We operate in a startup environment where ownership matters and contributions significantly impact the final product.This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.ResponsibilitiesConcept and compose engaging character and scene illustrationsCollaborate with Design, Animation, and Engineering teams on assetsMaintain clean, organized files with named layers, logical grouping, optimized anchor points, and efficient pathsCreate assets for product-ready illustrations (badges, hero illustrations, backgrounds for characters)Consider the user experience surrounding the artwork you createMinimum QualificationsAn online portfolio with illustration samplesProficiency delivering final illustrations in FigmaIllustration experience in a tech, agency, or editorial settingExperience creating structured, hand-off ready files (clean layers, consistent naming, minimal anchor points, asset reusability)Experience illustrating for animation; Rive is used as the tool of choiceAbility to juggle multiple projects from concept to completionPreferred Qualifications4+ years of experience at a high-paced tech startupExperience with product design or animation (or both)Bonus: Background in motion design, character rigging, or 2D game art pipelinesBenefitsEquity in Fetch401k match: dollar-for-dollar up to 4%Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans (including coverage for pets)Education reimbursement up to $10,000 per yearEmployee Resource Groups and Inclusion Council participationPaid time off plus 9 paid holidays and year-end company-wide breakRobustleave policies: 20 weeks parental leave (primary), 14 weeks secondary, flexible return to workCalvin Care Cash: one-time $2,000 for new family membersFlexible work environment: offices in Madison, Birmingham, or Chicago, or fully remote in the USEquality and accommodationsFetch is an equal opportunity employer.
