Product Development Systems Engineer

They are seeking a Product Development Systems Engineer to support and evolve engineering tools and processes for new product development across their global portfolio.ResponsibilitiesSupport and enhance PLM and CAD systems (3DExperience, SolidWorks) for a global engineering user basePartner with engineering teams to improve product development workflows, data quality, and change management processesConfigure and maintain PLM workflows, permissions, and engineering change processesTroubleshoot CAD and PLM issues, ensuring stable and efficient tool usageAssist with PLM data activities such as migrations, upgrades, and system enhancementsCollaborate with IT, vendors, and engineering stakeholders on system improvements and integrationsCreate documentation, training materials, and best practices to drive user adoptionSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar)Experience using CAD software, with a strong preference for SolidWorksExperience working in an engineering, product development, or manufacturing environmentAbility to understand engineering workflows, BOMs, and change processesStrong problem-solving skills and curiosity around systems, data, and process improvementEffective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyExperience with PLM systems (3DExperience strongly preferred)Exposure to engineering change control processesFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)Experience with DriveWorks design automationExposure to data migration, system integrations, APIs, or SQLExperience with automation, scripting, or low-code platformsSolidWorks certifications (CSWA / CSWP / CSWE)BenefitsRobust health plansMarket-leading 401(k) program with a company contributionProduct discountsFlexible time off benefits (including half-day summer Fridays per policy)Inclusive fertility / adoption benefitsCompany OverviewFortune Brands Innovations is an industry-leading home, security and digital products company.
