Job Summary Product Development Specialist - Immunoassay

The Immunoassay Product Development Specialist is responsible for developing advanced immunology assay products for research use and can lead to clinical diagnostics applications in the future. This role will be involved in product designing prototyping, validation and work with marketing and sales team for new product introductions.

Responsibilities Product Development Specialist - Immunoassay
• Conduct market research to identify new technology trends and applications
• Lead and execute the development of the immunoassay from concept through product, including initial design and development, feasibility, assay optimization, assay integration, verification, and validation studies.
• Develop and validate immunoassay system to detect and monitor various biological compounds in common fluid biopsies, ie. Urine, blood, saliva and other biofluid.
• Develop, execute, and troubleshoot immunoassays, including in vitro antibody/antigen ELISA, and receptor binding assays.
• Identify the source and validate the materials from external vendors and service providers for product development.
• Document experimental data, presenting data, conclusions, and interpretations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for automated instrument integration and testing.
• Any other project or tasks as assigned.

Qualifications Product Development Specialist - Immunoassay
• 2 Years hands-on experience of Immunoassays.
• Familiar with Stage-gate project management methodologies.
• Good verbal written communication and linguistic skills.
• High level of accountability
• Proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Prominent organization and presentation skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
• Should be honest, assertive and systematic.
• MS in biology, chemistry, bioengineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the design of experiments with statistical analysis of data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
