You'll uncover human needs, create innovative interaction patterns, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences. You are a tastemaker and an opinionated creative.What You’ll DoUser Research & DiscoveryPlan and execute mixed-method research including user interviews, diary studies, A/B tests, and analyticsIdentify pain points related to common web3 patterns such as liveness, safety, privacy, self-custody…etc.Use frameworks and methods such as Jobs-to-be-Done, user personas, user centered design, discovery and framing to define insights and personasProduct & Interaction DesignDesign novel user interactions and flows including AI-assisted ones. Examples of instances where this applies are transaction previews, privacy controls, intent-aware wallets, and recovery experiencesCreate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that prioritize user delight over frictionIterate through testing and validation cyclesDesign System DevelopmentExtend and maintain component libraries in Figma and codeDevelop tokenized, accessible design patterns that scale across productsDocument design decisions and maintain comprehensive design guidelinesDefine design systems for our dAppsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner daily with Product Managers and Engineers to scope features and experiencesMaintain continuous research feedback loops with quarterly learning goalsManage participant panels and share insights that influence product roadmapCommunity EngagementHost design workshops with external developersContribute to the Rialo community and promote accessibility and inclusivity standardsRequired Qualifications8+ years building and shipping digital products (web & mobile)2+ years specifically in Web3 environmentsMixed-methods research proficiency - ability to choose appropriate research methods and balance quantitative data with qualitative insightsEnd-to-end design portfolio demonstrating the complete process from research insights to shipped features with measurable outcomesMust show high proficiency in using AI at every step of the product design lifecycleAdvanced design systems knowledge including component-driven design, variants, auto-layout, and design tokens in Figma or similar toolsWeb3 technical fluency understanding signing, gas fees, MEV, zero-knowledge proofs, and trusted execution environmentsClear communication skills for written specifications, video walkthroughs, and asynchronous design critiquesCollaborative mindset with openness to feedback and low-ego approach to teamworkPreferred QualificationsExperience designing data-heavy interfaces or trading platformsBackground in fintech product designFamiliarity with Web3 developer tooling and SVM developer stackKnowledge of emerging AI interaction patterns including agentic flows, explainability, and prompt UX design
