Role Description As a Product Designer in our Spend Management squad, you’ll help create tools that go beyond the basics of banking — empowering businesses to control spending, set limits, track transactions in real-time, and eliminate admin. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to improve existing journeys and design new features from the ground up. You’ll use insights from users, data, and teammates to solve problems and contribute to delivering great outcomes. Key Responsibilities Design & Delivery Contribute to product discovery by mapping journeys, sketching ideas, and shaping flows. Translate insights into intuitive, accessible, and user-centered designs. Design end-to-end experiences in Figma - from wireframes to polished UI. Use established systems and patterns while identifying opportunities to improve them. Break work into iterations that support fast feedback and learning. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with product managers and engineers to shape and refine solutions Share your thinking early and often - in critiques, async channels, and stand-ups Clarify requirements and priorities to ensure your work aligns with project goals Participate in squad rituals and contribute to improving how the team delivers Growth & Impact Take ownership of your work with increasing independence Seek and respond to feedback from peers, stakeholders, and users Use data and insight to guide your decisions and explain your approach Continuously improve your skills and contribute to the growth of the design practice Personal Attributes & Experience At Allica, we value how you think, collaborate, and grow — not just what you design. You’re someone who: - Makes thoughtful, user-focused design decisions backed by data and insight. Works independently but knows when to involve others and ask questions. Communicates clearly and shares the reasoning behind your work. Balances speed and quality - knowing when to iterate and when to polish. Gives and receives feedback constructively. Is naturally collaborative - you enjoy working with others to solve problems. At least 2 years designing digital products in-house or in product-focused teams. A portfolio of work across responsive web and/or native mobile apps. Strong visual design and interaction design skills, with attention to detail. Comfortable working with and contributing to design systems. Familiarity with accessibility principles and inclusive design practices. An interest in financial services or solving complex workflows (a bonus, not a requirement).
