Warner Bros. Discovery is a leading media and entertainment company, and they are seeking a Product Designer II for their CNN Digital Products & Services team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative mobile app experiences that engage millions of users.ResponsibilitiesYou will be an integral part of the product design team that is creating the next generation of CNN mobile apps, from small iterative improvements to long term visionYou will be embedded in a cross functional squad focused and attend all squad and team ceremonies and be a part of a collaborative culture across CNN DigitalYou’ll partner closely with senior product designers across the organization, product managers and engineering on features and tickets, helping to shape requirements and deliver detailed final files for buildAs a team member, you’ll take part in and collaborate with your cross functional team on QA and testingYou will collaborate with product and user research on plans for testing and researchYou are encouraged to challenge the status quo, understanding the boundaries of mobile technology, and the CNN business; but most importantly knowing when to push itYou’ll utilize and evolve our Design System patterns as needed to contribute and create new, cross-platform compatible componentsSkills0-2 years' work experience as a digital designerKnowledge of visual design elements including typography, layout, and visual hierarchyDesign portfolio highlighting work in native mobile experiencesFamiliarity with collaboration with internal stakeholders such as product management and engineeringGood written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsBasic knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud toolsBachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experienceInterest in content creation, strategy, and communication is desirable; media experience is a plusBenefitsHealth insurance coverageAn employee wellness programLife and disability insuranceA retirement savings planPaid holidays and sick timeVacationCompany OverviewWarner Bros.
