Teachable is looking for a creative, driven designer to shape the future of our iOS and Android apps. Our mobile experience is the best way for our creators’ audiences to engage with their content, and you’ll own the end-to-end design process to make it even better. This role offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into our student user archetype and craft seamless, impactful experiences.
At Teachable, Product Designers lead design from ideation to launch—advocating for users, conducting discovery, refining designs, and iterating post-launch. You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define and execute a strategy that balances user needs and business goals while ensuring a cohesive experience across Teachable’s web and mobile platforms.

In this role, you'll:
Design – Craft mobile experiences that feel as good as they look—simple, seamless, and delightful.
Empathize – Dig deep with research to uncover what users really need and help answer, "What should we build?"
Advocate – Speak up for the user while keeping business goals in mind. Great design happens when both thrive.
Commit – Own your work from idea to launch. Sketch, test, tweak, and bring your best ideas to life.
Optimize – Try, learn, repeat. Quick experiments help us fine-tune designs and stay ahead of the game.
Communicate – Keep everyone in the loop. Clear goals, good storytelling, and strong teamwork make all the difference.
Evaluate – Check what’s working (and what’s not). Smart insights help us make better, more user-friendly products.
What You'll Bring:
2+ years of professional product design experience, including native mobile app design work
A strong understanding of native mobile best practices and customer needs, with the ability to translate them into engaging and actionable deliverables
Effective partnership with engineering counterparts
Expertise in visual design principles such as consistency, color, typography, responsive layout, and animation
Effective storytelling and communication skills to be able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong English-speaking skills
A portfolio with case studies showcasing your product design work
That spark of curiosity that drives you to create great experiences for your users
Nice to Have:
Experience working in growth stage ($10MM - $100MM ARR) companies
