Product Data Management Specialist

We are currently seeking a Product Master Data Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining product master data for finished goods, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across systems. You will serve as the local point of contact for Corporate Product Master and partner cross-functionally with PLM, R&D, Supply Chain, and Accounting.

Responsibilities:



Serve as the local point of contact for Corporate Product Master, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and procedures

Maintain and validate product master data at the subsidiary level, ensuring consistency across systems

Configure and manage product-related data, including units of measure, conversions, pricing structures, and accounting setup

Support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, including SKU table configuration and maintenance

Oversee packaging hierarchy setup (consumer unit, inner, master, pallet) and related conversions

Generate and assign GTIN13 barcodes to support supply chain integration

Support product development initiatives (Private Label, PFP, R&D) through accurate and timely data management

Act as a liaison between local teams and corporate functions to ensure smooth communication and process adherence

Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures

Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field preferred; Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent required

+2 years of experience working with data, analytics, or product-related systems (chemical or specialty materials industry preferred)

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (Concept2Product) strongly preferred

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams

Valid driver’s license with good driving record

Ability to travel up to 10%
