Listed locations are referential only and are not intended to limit where qualified candidates may reside.Travel Required: Yes – domestic (approx. 50%) & occasional internationalWhat You’ll DoIn this role, you’ll be the technical bridge between customers, sales, and product management:Partner with key customers and distributors to understand tooling needs and translate them into product opportunitiesLead and support high‑value customer projects (>$50K) from concept to completionCollaborate with Global Product Managers on product additions, rationalization, and future development—especially indexable and high‑performance round toolsSupport sales growth through technical expertise, documentation, and project executionIdentify market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform strategyDeliver impactful product training and technical presentations to customers and distribution partnersRepresent Dormer Pramet at industry trade shows and conferencesTravel regularly to customer sites using a company‑provided lease vehicleWork safely and professionally in customer manufacturing environmentsWhat You BringWe’re looking for a motivated, customer‑focused professional with strong technical fundamentals:Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or a related field—or equivalent industry experience5+ years of experience in the metalworking or manufacturing industrySolid understanding of metal removal and machining processesStrong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independentlyComfortable analyzing application data, calculations, and sales metricsProficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Fluent in English (written and spoken)Valid U.S. driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the U.S.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as requiredAbility to obtain security clearance for select customer facilitiesWhy Join Dormer Pramet?At Dormer Pramet, we combine deep metal-cutting expertise with global reach and a strong commitment to innovation.
