Procurement & Supply Chain Counsel

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Supply Chain Counsel to support sophisticated supply chain and procurement initiatives. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to the Summit, New Jersey office preferred. This individual will act as a trusted legal advisor, partnering closely with the business to negotiate and manage critical procurement and supply chain agreements. Job Function • Support the business on an immediate basis, beginning ASAP, during an initial pilot phase through January, with continued support anticipated through the remainder of Q1. • Independently manage and negotiate commercial agreements related to supply chain and direct procurement activities. • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for raw materials, chemicals, packaging, and other direct procurement inputs. • Advise on and support contract manufacturing and external manufacturing arrangements. • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance on procurement and supply chain matters. Job Requirements • 8–12 years of pharma and healthcare experience, specifically focused on negotiating supply chain and direct procurement agreements. • Experience must include direct procurement of raw materials, packaging, and ingredients (not indirect procurement). This distinction is critical for the role.
