The Procurement Operations Analyst will drive the execution of operational tasks within Procurement Operations, ensuring compliance and quality while identifying inefficiencies and supporting vendor onboarding.ResponsibilitiesDrive quality assurance and controlReview and correct purchase requests using established processes and proceduresReview and correct change requests using established processes and proceduresReview and correct purchase orders using established processes and proceduresReview reports on un-invoiced purchase orders and coordinate invoicing from suppliersReview reports on open purchase orders and coordinate the closing and reopening of purchase ordersConduct testing in Tanium’s procurement system using established processes, procedures, and test scriptsDrive compliant onboarding of new vendorsReview and correct vendor onboarding requests using established processes and proceduresProvide support to vendors to facilitate the onboarding, ensuring timely and accurate completion of vendor profilesExecute operational activitiesReview assigned tickets and resolve through coordinating with ticket requestor and using established processes, procedures, and step guidesProvide support to project management team as neededOperate various compliance program tasks including data entry, analysis, and reportingExecute routine daily operational tasks in a variety of administrative functions at the direction of managerWin as a TeamProvide burst capacity related to team operational activitiesProvide support in designing, building, and testing enhancements to Tanium’s procurement systemSkillsBA/BS in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or other related fields required or equivalent demonstrated experienceProficiency in English1+ years' experience in procurement sourcing, purchasing, operations or similarGeneral supplier contract review competencyExperience and understanding of basic accounting principlesExperience and understanding of basic procurement contract clauses and contract lifecyclesExperience and understanding of basic data analysisStrong ability to work on a team and communicate clearlyExperience training peers on processes and systems at various levels of an organizationProficiency in O365 or Google SuiteProficiency in Microsoft ProjectsProficiency in ZipHQ or other procure to pay toolsExperience working with functional leaders and executive stakeholdersAbility to solve tough problems, quicklyKnowledge and application of Lean / Six Sigma principals to projects and processes a plus and 'black belt certification'BenefitsEquity awardsMedical, dental and vision planFamily planning benefitsHealth savings accountFlexible spending accountTransportation savings account401(k) retirement savings plan with company matchLife, accident and disability coverageBusiness travel accident insuranceEmployee assistance programsDisability insuranceOther well-being benefitsCompany OverviewTanium is an IT security firm that provides risk management, incident response, EDR, and patch management services.
