Procurement Officer
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships for our organisation. This fully remote role requires a strategic thinker who can negotiate effectively and ensure value for money across all procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers, obtaining quotes and negotiating favourable terms
Raise and process purchase orders in line with company procurement policies
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues promptly
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Assist with budget tracking and cost-saving initiatives
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs and manage stock levels
Qualifications and Experience
3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
Good understanding of procurement best practices and compliance requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely
Relevant degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics preferred
Salary: R30,000/month | 100% Remote
