Procurement Manager- Fully remote!
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Consultant to lead sourcing and purchasing initiatives for our Refrigerants Division. This position supports three domestic manufacturing facilities and collaborates closely with suppliers, production teams, and internal departments to ensure effective Supply Chain Management of refrigerant gases.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Manage procurement and inventory levels of refrigerant gases, working with internal teams to ensure optimal stock availability
ā¢ Partner with plant facilities to coordinate routine scheduling and support purchasing needs, including forecasting and sourcing
ā¢ Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers for Supply Agreements
ā¢ Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, including evaluating new sources as necessary
ā¢ Maintain an organized procedure library and contribute to departmental process improvements
ā¢ Handle special customer orders involving large volumes or non-standard requests
ā¢ Participate in special projects related to sourcing and inventory management
Qualifications:
ā¢ Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, specifically in refrigerant gases
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
ā¢ Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations
ā¢ Strong background in purchasing and supply chain management
ā¢ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
ā¢ Familiarity with SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) is a plus
