We’ve been featured across top tier outlets such as the New York Times, Fast Company, TechCrunch, VOGUE, Wall Street Journal, Inc., and more.The Role:We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and supplier management for the Blueland product portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Procurement and Technical Services, this role will be responsible for leading the sourcing strategy for all raw material ingredients and packaging spend. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the CPG industry and experience procuring raw materials, packaging, and contract manufacturing for household cleaning goods. Responsibilities: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials, including ingredients, and packagingConduct market analysis to identify new suppliers, mitigate risks, and uncover cost-saving opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliersNegotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure optimal valueMonitor supplier performance through KPIs and scorecardsDrive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service standardsCollaborate with R&D and Operations on value engineering projects and alternative sourcingPartner with Supply Planning to align purchasing with demand forecasts and production schedulesEnsure all sourcing activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, ethical sourcing, and environmental and sustainability goalsWork closely with Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Marketing teams on product launches and reformulations Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering or Science related field5 years of procurement experience in the CPG industry, ideally with exposure to cleaning, household, or personal care productsStrong negotiation, communication, and analytical skillsProficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelUnderstanding of regulatory and environmental considerations for cleaning chemicals and packaging Additional Information The salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000We prioritize our planet and our people.
