Procurement Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement leader to join the Gopuff team as we centralize procurement across the company. We are searching for a procurement/sourcing leader to support Indirect deals, owning end-to-end sourcing activities. The ideal candidate will be energized to build the procurement foundation by analyzing spend forecasts, developing market strategy, negotiating cost-effective contracts with key suppliers, and building relationships with internal stakeholder teams. Responsibilities Evaluate current sourcing/procurement processes to continuously improve productivity and efficiency of the organizationDevelop category management and sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams to allow Gopuff to capture cost reduction, while maximizing quality, speed and scalability for all indirect purchasesConsolidate spend across the company to capture buying power with key suppliers who are motivated by our growth and thrive for innovationAnalyze spend to develop cost reduction strategiesLead requirements gathering, RFP issuance and review processes and supplier selectionNegotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality while working with cross-functional stakeholdersCollaborating with various internal departments to identify and pursue new supplier opportunitiesAnalyze risks and apply mitigating techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulationsNegotiate for best possible value guarantee and develop “win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliersMaintain and develop supplier relationships which are incentivized by performance and innovationDevelop and implement mechanisms for new contracting requests and savings trackingLead bi-weekly leadership meetings (GSSP) to present new contracts, and evaluate spend vs. budget Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Logistics5+ years of procurement/strategic sourcing experienceExperience in IT/Technology categories is a plusExcellent negotiation skills and contract management experienceExcellent verbal and written communicationA self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentExperience with P2P (Procure-to-Pay) tools like Coupa/Ariba/Oracle and overall P2P process understanding Additional Information The only predictable thing about life is that it’s wildly unpredictable.
