PRN RN- Moderate Sedation
OMS Consulting is a traveling oral surgery company, and we perform extractions (usually wisdom teeth) in dental clinics across 13 states. We are growing and are hiring PRN nurses to provide patient care before, during, and after their procedure. Nurses will need to be proficient in starting IVs and monitoring patient under moderate sedation in a fast paced environment.
Nurses can pick up in multiple locations if desired, but a multi-state license is required for working outside of Louisiana. We cover travel expenses for nurses, including travel time. Nurses are required to work one shift per month, but are welcome to work more shifts if available.
Shreveport is a new location for us, and we would travel you to one of our established locations for a training day if interested. Travel costs will be reimbursed. We have established clinics in the following cities near Shreveport:
Nacogdoches and Arlington TX, Monroe and Pineville LA.
Pay is $40/hour plus travel expenses if applicable. Training nurses will be paid a temporary rate of $30/hr while training, and then increased to $40/hr when signed off from orientation (usually one full day in one of our clinics.) Nurses are employed as 1099 contractors.
Nursing experience in any of the following areas are a plus: ER, Pre/Post Op, Surgery.
