PRN MTM Pharmacist- **KOREAN SPEAKING** (46134)
General Purpose:
Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist provides specialized patient review and drug therapy recommendations for insurer's eligible members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
ā¢ Performs telephonic comprehensive medication reviews
ā¢ Updates patient profiles based on information gathered during the review
ā¢ Reviews any Drug Therapy Problems to optimize patient's drug therapy and minimize the potential for adverse drug reactions
ā¢ Works with multidisciplinary team to enhance and develop our MedPro software.
ā¢ Completes at least (2) two CMR's per hour
ā¢ Assists Clinical team in meeting proficiency and quality goals
ā¢ Utilizes client formulary information and member specific benefits to guide appropriate medication recommendations
ā¢ Maintains current on emerging trends that will educate clinical team, physicians and other prescribers
Leadership Duties (If Applicable)
ā¢ Establish positive partnerships across business groups both inside and outside of the organization
Education & Experience:
ā¢ Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, or equivalent
ā¢ Active, unrestricted Pharmacy license
ā¢ Secure high-speed internet access (Ethernet connection preferred)
ā¢ Prior MTM experience preferred, but not necessary
ā¢ Must be fluent in Korean and English
.Minimum Physical Requirement:
The Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist will perform his or her work in a HIPAA secure work space with no background noise using standard office equipment. The following demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
ā¢ Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
ā¢ Bend, twist or stoop on a repetitive and continuous basis
ā¢ Stand and remain on feet for extended periods of time
ā¢ Operate various business instruments, including computers, printers/scanners/fax machines, requiring manual dexterity
ā¢ Sit and concentrate for long periods of time to compute, examine, and interpret data
ā¢ Read paperwork and computer monitors, requiring visual acuity
Skills:
ā¢ Strong oral and written communication skills
ā¢ Outstanding telephone skills and etiquette
ā¢ Excellent clinical and analytical skills
ā¢ Ability to work independently and show initiative
ā¢ Working knowledge of Google Docs and Microsoft Excel
ā¢ Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
