Our customer is a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. They prevent online fraud and money laundering and help insurance companies evaluate and predict risk. Their events combine in-person and digital experiences to help customers learn about markets, source products and complete transactions. In short, they enable customers to make better decisions, get better results and be more productive.
We are seeking a Private Funds Attorney on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
What YouÂll Do
 Edit and create Âhow-to type sophisticated practical guidance and annotated forms relevant to private funds and investment management practice
Must Haves
 Minimum 5 years of experience as an investment management attorney, including recent large law firm practice experience in private fund formation (private equity, hedge fund, venture capital), transactional matters, fund and investment adviser regulation/compliance
 Recent and intimate knowledge of investment management market and regulatory trends, as well as familiarity with investment management attorney workflow
 Excellent drafting, editing, legal analysis, and writing skills
 Effective written communication skills
 Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines
 Organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a detail-oriented environment
Education
 Law degree from an accredited law school and attorney registration in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
Hours & Location:
 M-F, 30 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
Please Note: In order to create a safe, productive work environment, our client is requiring all contractors who plan to be onsite to be fully vaccinated according to the CDC guidelines. Prior to coming into our offices, contractors will be required to attest that they are fully vaccinated.
