As a Prior Authorization Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in streamlining the prior authorization process for specialty medications. Communicating with prescriber offices via phone, chat, or email to manage prior authorization stages. High school diploma required; Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty pharmacy, prior authorization, and benefit verification. Strong knowledge of drug nomenclature, medical terminology, and insurance navigation. Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
