Researches, designs, plans, develops and/or evaluates new, advanced network technologies by translating requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

-Work typically includes in-depth assessment of the networked application needs, providing network modeling, prototyping and simulation testing, consulting to further clarify needs to deliver application functionality.

-Performs network product engineering assignments, including design, development, documentation and testing of network hardware, firmware, software products or systems.

-Assignments may include development of new products, enhancements, and modifications existing products.

-Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on ATT technologies.

Job Contribution:

Oversee project lifecycle from inception through implementation.

Collaborate with and coordinate efforts of subject matter experts to accomplish project lifecycle milestones.

Serve as subject matter expert for assigned technologies within wireless roaming environment.

Education:

Bachelors of Science degree in the field Engineering, Math or Science preferred.

Experience:

Typically requires 5-8 years of experience.

Our Principal Product Development Engineer, earns between $141,300.00-$211,900.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
