Principal Enterprise Software Architect

Job Description: • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and enterprise-scale solutions • Lead architectural strategy for large enterprise and public sector clients • Transform legacy applications into modern cloud-native architectures • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers • Develop migration and modernization roadmaps for complex enterprise applications • Define technical standards and best practices for application architecture and deployment Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field OR Substitution: 15+ years of relevant on-the-job experience in lieu of degree • Minimum: 15+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in specialized software architecture roles including Mainframe migrations to the AWS Cloud • AWS experience within previous 2-4 years • Proven experience leading application modernization projects (mainframe to microservices, lift-and-shift to cloud-native, containerization, serverless adoption) • Experience working with public sector organizations and government agencies • Must be a US Citizen and able to pass federal background and drug screening • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (or ability to obtain within 6 months) • AWS Certified Developer Associate OR AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Benefits: • Medical, dental, and vision health insurances, • Short term disability, long term disability and life insurances, • 401k with Company match • Paid time off (PTO) (120 hours PTO that accrue over one year) • Paid time off for major holidays (14 days per year) Apply tot his job
