Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM (On call support required, as needed). Location: Remote (North Carolina only) Department: IT Architecture Innovation and Growth Key Responsibilities: Led enterprise business architecture strategy to translate organizational vision into scalable, patient‑centered enterprise capabilities , enabling transformation across care delivery, operations, and innovation. Advanced the enterprise business architecture discipline by establishing standardized capability models, maturity frameworks, and planning processes that aligned strategy, investment, and execution. Partnered closely with IT, business, and clinical leaders to guide strategic decisions using enterprise capability‑based planning and architectural insights. Enabled system‑wide transformation initiatives through end‑to‑end capability assessments, dependency mapping, and enterprise roadmaps aligned to care objectives. Supported executive decision‑making by ensuring investment alignment with enterprise capabilities, strategic priorities, and long‑term organizational outcomes. Embedded high‑reliability principles into business and system design to improve resilience, safety, and operational consistency across the enterprise. Ensured enterprise architecture solutions adhered to secure systems design practices , including least privilege, least functionality, and data sensitivity standards. Actively participated in incident response and risk mitigation , supporting secure, reliable, and compliant information systems. Served as a principal architect and thought leader , mentoring architects and business leaders on enterprise capability thinking and strategic alignment. What We're Looking For: Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree , required. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related discipline. Graduate Degree, preferred. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree. Experience: Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in enterprise business architecture, strategy, or transformation in healthcare or complex regulated industries, required. Licensure/Certification: Certified Business Architect (CBA®), TOGAF®, SAFe®, or similar, required. Additional Skills (required): Establish and manage standards, methods, and templates for Business Architecture deliverables across the enterprise. Deliver key strategic artifacts such as: Business Capability Models, Value Stream Maps. Business Motivation Models, Operating Model Blueprints, Stakeholder and Information Mapping, and Capability Maturity Assessment and Heat Maps. Apply and adapt formal frameworks and modeling standards, including: BIZBOK for capability-based planning, value mapping, and business motivation modeling TOGAF or Gartner EA Framework for enterprise architecture alignment and governance BPMN 2.0 for process modeling and workflow harmonization Manages the Application Rationalization and Portfolio Management of enterprise business applications outcomes and deliverable for senior management. Owns the discovery, planning, business case development and strategic alignment enterprise outcomes. Demonstrated success in developing enterprise capability models, value streams, operating models, or transformation roadmaps. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trust with executives and operational leaders. Expertise in architecture frameworks and tools (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, Signavio, or equivalent). Additional Skills (preferred): Track record of industry thought leadership, publications, or engagement in professional architecture forums.
