Principal Consultant - Power Energy Markets
Job Description:
• Provide expertise based on a solid working knowledge of energy markets
• Manage moderate to highly complex engagements through all stages
• Develop, present, and defend conclusions for client deliverables
• Search for new consulting opportunities with existing or new clients
• Draft expert testimony for utility commissions
• Assist with business development opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Economics, Math, Finance, or Accounting
• Master's Degree, MBA or PhD preferred
• Advanced analytical skills including understanding electric market structure
• 10+ years experience in energy markets
• Knowledge of power production modeling, regional regulations, financial analysis
• Experience writing expert witness testimony for power market cases
• Very strong communication and presentation skills
