Principal Cloud Developer – Node.js, React.js

Job Description: • Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions • Maintains the integrity and security of systems • Maintains all documentations • Supports and develops automation • Develops in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python • Maintains/enhances knowledge of AWS cloud services • Monitors and tunes the cloud systems to achieve optimum performance levels • Works across teams and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts • Deals with escalations • Makes assessments, recommendations, or provides solutions to resolve issues • Composes and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, et al Requirements: • 5+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing required • 7+ years of total IT experience strongly preferred • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Bash, PowerShell, or Python • Development background in Node.JS and React.JS • Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers) to deliver high-quality solutions • Design and implement data processing and integration solutions using ETL tools • Experience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerization • Must be able to pass a background check to obtain and maintain a position of Public Trust • Must be a US Person (Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, US Citizen) Benefits: • Comprehensive benefits and wellness packages • 401K with company match • Competitive pay and paid time off • Full flex work weeks where possible • A variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave • GDIT Paid Family Leave program providing a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees • Short and long-term disability benefits • Life, accidental death and dismemberment, personal accident, critical illness and business travel and accident insurance Apply tot his job
