Pricing Analyst

About the RoleAutomatiq is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our industry leading Full Service Pricing department! Using your experience and pricing expertise, you will analyze markets and price clients' ticket inventory positions across a variety of events using our intelligent dynamic pricing software, Uptick. As a Pricing Analyst, you will communicate closely with clients, acting as their main point of contact within the Automatiq organization. In this critical role, you will report directly to the Pricing Manager and indirectly to the Sr. Director of Full Service Pricing. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze markets, historicals, and live data in order to price client inventory effectively using Automatiq’s proprietary softwareConduct detailed market research to help build strategic pricing recommendations for clientsCommunicate with clients effectively to discuss strategy, preferences, and account performanceWork closely with the business intelligence and software development teams to improve product performanceQualificationsExceptional interpersonal skills including verbal & written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast paced environmentA team player with a positive attitude and a desire to deliver the best customer experience possible.Prior experience in the ticketing industry or using Automatiq’s uptick platform is a plusOccasional availability to work non-standard hours and weekend days requiredAbility to thrive in a remote work environment (must work off of Eastern time zone)Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Management, Finance, or Economics strongly preferred1+ years in an analytical or pricing roleStrong financial, analytical and mathematical skillsSports and entertainment knowledge strongly preferredAbout UsAutomatiq is the leading all-in-one software platform in the live event ticketing world, serving resellers of all sizes.
