Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team at Kiddie Academy of St. Louis, a NAEYC accredited early learning center. As a Preschool Teacher for 2 and 3 year olds, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and interactive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our young students.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
Develop and implement weekly lesson plans, including multiple backup plans, to ensure children are constantly engaged in learning
Build strong relationships with children, parents, lead teachers, and coworkers
Attend and participate in monthly team meetings, Academy events, training, and other meetings as requested
Understand and support the KA mission and vision through positive professionalism, building the Kiddie Academy brand and organizational culture

Requirements:
Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate, Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience in early childcare education preferred
1 year or more experience in early childcare education required
High school diploma required
Strong communication, patience, empathy, creativity, and organizational skills
Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds on a consistent basis
