Key Responsibilities


Resolve complex consumer issues: Address intricate customer concerns that require advanced problem-solving skills and innovative solutions, ensuring each policyholder receives a satisfactory resolution.
Advise first-level representatives: Serve as a subject matter expert by providing guidance and mentorship to team members handling high-level escalations and complex inquiries.
Billing support: Assist policyholders with billing questions, payment concerns, and account inquiries, maintaining accuracy and professionalism in all financial communications.
Policy modifications: Support policyholders in requesting and processing changes to their insurance policies, including coverage adjustments, beneficiary updates, and policy cancellations.
Product recommendations: Analyze customer needs and provide tailored recommendations for insurance products and coverage options that best fit their circumstances.
Compliance adherence: Maintain thorough knowledge of company policies, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure all interactions meet the highest standards of compliance.
Documentation and reporting: Accurately document all customer interactions, issues resolved, and recommendations provided in our customer relationship management system.
Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance customer service processes and contribute innovative ideas to improve overall team performance.


Essential Qualifications


Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in a professional setting
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to type at least 25 words per minute with accuracy
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Proven oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally
Comfortable navigating desktop computer systems and various software applications
Strong logical problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and standard office software


Preferred Qualifications


Previous call center experience (minimum 6 months preferred)
Background in the insurance or financial services industry
Prior experience handling high-volume customer interactions
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Experience mentoring or training other team members
Bilingual capabilities (English and Spanish or other languages)
