PPC Manager for Local SEM

Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Google Ads and Analytics Specialist to help optimize and maintain our digital marketing ecosystem for a local businessin in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and conversion tracking, along with a strong understanding of Performance Max (PMAX) campaign optimization, WordPress site management, and general lead generation strategy.

You’ll work directly with our marketing team to ensure accurate data tracking, performance growth, and compliance across all campaigns and landing pages.

Responsibilities

• Audit and manage existing Google Ads, Performance Max, and remarketing campaigns.

• Implement and maintain accurate conversion tracking via GA4 and GTM, including event and user-level data.

• Monitor and improve attribution modeling, ensuring visibility into leads, calls, and form submissions.

• Create, test, and optimize WordPress landing pages for conversion rate improvement.

• Ensure ad policy compliance, manage appeals for disapprovals, and maintain account health.

• Provide recommendations for local SEO and on-page optimization to support local service visibility.

• Report weekly on KPIs including conversions, CPL, CTR, and ROAS with actionable insights.

• Consult on broader lead generation, funnel optimization, and campaign expansion opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Google Ads (Search, PMAX, Display) and GA4 setup.

• Proficiency with Google Tag Manager, event tracking, and data-layer configuration.

• Experience managing conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.

• Familiarity with local SEM strategies

• Ability to troubleshoot ad disapprovals and navigate appeals quickly.

• Strong reporting skills with Looker Studio, Sheets, or similar tools.
