Position Description And Job Skill Set
ā¢ This position requires a qualified Power BI Developer with at least 7 years' experience in the following areas.
ā¢ Prototyping, designing, developing, and publishing Power BI Reports
ā¢ Develop Power BI Data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations
ā¢ Implement security in reports and dashboards
ā¢ Integrate Dashboards into applications using Power BI Embedded.
ā¢ Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather business requirements for Analytics and Reporting
ā¢ Provide guidance and code reviews to BI team members
ā¢ Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance
ā¢ Create and modify database tables and views. Review plans to optimize SQL queries
ā¢ Responsible for implementing security on developed Dashboards in accordance with security and access requirements
ā¢ Ensure agile/scrum practices are followed during the development process
ā¢ Evaluate self-service reporting and dashboard tool
ā¢ Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines.
ā¢ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
ā¢ Multi-task effectively between projects.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
ā¢ Must possess analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
Required Skills/Experience
ā¢ Experience in Business Analytics tools developing Reporting and Dashboards
ā¢ Experience in Reporting and Analytics using Power BI - M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, Row Level Security Experience in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills, preferrable SQL Server
ā¢ Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources
ā¢ Experience working with Agile methodology and self-starter who can quickly acclimate to a dynamic environment
Preferred/Not Required
ā¢ Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform including Exchange, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem.
ā¢ Demonstrate an understanding of security concepts including access control and data security. Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification.
