Postgre SQL Developer
Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled PostgreSQL Developer with strong experience in AWS services, Redshift, and SQL development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database development, optimization, and providing production support for mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL database objects (tables, views, functions, stored procedures). • Build and manage ETL pipelines integrating PostgreSQL, AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue), and Redshift. • Write efficient, high-performance SQL queries for analytics and application development. • Monitor production databases, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance. • Handle production support activities, including incident analysis, root-cause identification, and timely resolution. • Work with AWS services to deploy and maintain cloud-based database solutions. • Develop data models, schema designs, and implement best practices for database performance. • Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations. • Collaborate with application developers, DevOps, and analysts to support data-driven projects. • Implement security, compliance, and data-governance standards across environments. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Postgres SQL development and RedShift AWS experience Writing complex SQL queries & stored procedures; tuning them Needs to be aware of current database trends, especially around AI dev tools (SQL coding, performance tuning) Apply tot his job
