Post Closing Specialist
Overview
Job Title: Post Closing Specialist (Investor Shipping)
Location: Remote OK ( If living within 31 miles of Santa Ana, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work hybrid). Hours Flexible but preferably 7am - 3:30pm PST
Pay: $17 - $20/hr. d.o.e. plus benefits
Primary responsibilities include preparing real estate loans to ensure they are closed in conformance with all underwriting guidelines. Post-Closing prepares loans for booking and settlement with agencies, tracks and clears post close file exceptions.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs post audit review of secondary market loans based upon regulatory agency and investor requirements.
Prepares files for other audits of secondary market loans.
Disbursement of all residential mortgage loans.
Reconciliation of all HUD/Settlement Statements with FICS.
Mailing customer survey letters.
Coordinating trailing documents to outside investors
Reviewing all mortgage loans for compliance following QC checklist.
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
Qualifications

Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans, and investor guidelines.
Must have excellent attention to detail.
Prior experience and proficiency with Loan Origination Systems and Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years’ experience in this field of work is preferred.
