Portfolio Manager - Commercial Banking

U.S. Bank Corp is looking for an experienced and motivated Portfolio Manager - Commercial Banking to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for actively managing a portfolio of commercial banking clients, helping to grow their business while ensuring all credit criteria is met. This is an excellent opportunity to use your experience and knowledge to take a portfolio of clients to the next level.We are looking for a professional with at least five years of experience in portfolio and credit management with a strong understanding of commercial banking. A successful candidate should be able to build strong relationships with clients, have a solid understanding of financial products and services, and possess excellent credit and risk management skills. Responsibilities:

Actively manage a portfolio of commercial banking clients, helping to grow their business while ensuring all credit criteria is met.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service.
Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other financial information to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers.
Assess the financial risks of clients and analyze their cash flow and credit histories to determine whether to approve or deny loan applications.
Monitor the performance of existing loans to ensure compliance with credit terms and conditions.
Make recommendations to senior management regarding credit approval or risk management decisions.
Stay up to date with regulations and market trends to ensure the company remains compliant with industry best practices.
Develop and implement strategies for risk management and credit portfolio growth.
Prepare reports and presentations to present to senior management.
